Welcome to ReCreate
reCreate is a global inter-disciplinary center that focuses on developing and exploring frameworks for learning through integration of mind, body and technology to develop creativity and innovation.
reCreate is based at Aalborg University – Copenhagen in Sydhavnen at the Department of Learning and Philosophy, and in Aalborg as well. The research in the center will contribute to the development of existing educations as well as new educational initiatives at the Aalborg University.
This center will engage researchers from the educational sciences, medialogy, computer science, psychology, architecture, neuroscience, applied philosophy and music therapy.
STORYLAB, Viborg is a collaboration between libaries, highschools and a variariaty of other partners such as reCreate, to create a multimedia-workplace where young people develop with their narrative potential and work with tales and universes following an experimental masterteacher-principe.
The Østerskov Efterskole in Denmark is taught through role-playing. With good results, especially in "problem learners". While 40 per cent of the pupils have learning difficulties, the school is not inferior to mainstream schools
